History
Founded in 1987, it all started when Lawrence Ee received a recruitment call from a mentor who believed in him. Despite his family’s strong disbelief after witnessing both his father and sister failing in the industry – with the longest lasting only 6 months – Lawrence began his entrepreneur journey in Financial Services.
From young, Lawrence was raised to be hardworking. After only a year of swimming, he entered the school’s open tournament and emerged as a champion. This passion, dedication, and persistence cultivated during childhood, propelled Lawrence in the Financial Industry. But solo success wasn’t enough, he wanted to help fellow Singaporeans avoid the pitfalls and booby traps in their financial journeys.
Because of one man’s vision, Abundant Life Planners has grown to a 60-person strong agency with life and qualifying Financial Services Consultants and leaders. Our team comes from all walks of life, such as sales, marketing, directors, bankers, and ex-corporate workers caught in the rat race looking to break out.

Our Founder
Lawrence Ee is the Master District Director of Abundant Life Planners. He is a life member of MDRT (Million Dollar Round Table), a Pinnacle Club Agency Manager for the last 24 years and counting, and achieved the prestigious Singapore Management Diamond Award for his outstanding leadership in agency management.
He is also the managing director of Abundant Life Planners Pte Ltd, a company that focuses on training, developing, and mentoring external Financial Services Consultants and leaders, leading them to excellence and success.
More than a dozen Directors were birthed from the Abundant Life Planners family, who are now successful entrepreneurs under Lawrence’s mentorship.
Over his 40 years as both a Financial Services Consultant and Agency Director, we are humbled to have more than 24 MDRT members sprouting from the family and some even achieving the very distinguished Top of the Table Award.
Lawrence is a Chartered Wealth Manager holding an MBA in Strategic Wealth Management, Dip. SII and an LUTC Fellow.
